A persistently low sperm count (<5mil/ml) is called oligospermia.
A persistently zero sperm count (0mil/ml) is called azoospermia.
Sometimes although the sperm count is good, the motility of sperm is zero (Necrospermia) or Morphology of sperm is abnormal (asthenospermia)

If the sperm count is zero ,then the sperm need to be retrieved surgically using any of the below procedure.
